See Evil, Hear Evil but Speak the Truth

I came across this interesting blog -by Mr. Smith - and I really recommend you reading.

Here is his excerpt of a reply to Wong Chun Wai's 'Why Christians prefer to vote for PAS, not BN' published in the Star on the 29 Feb 2008. (And I am sure his letter was not published by the MCA paper)

“ I hear church groups telling their congregation to vote anything opposition including PAS, which is simply naïve and emotional. Whatever the flaws of the system, it still works, despite some occasional hitches,” said one Penang Barisan leader.

Why didn’t you name that Penang Barisan leader? Because this quote is your personal view. Writers like you, who are de facto press secretaries of the MCA, write your views and attribute them to some sources or political analysts. Please lah, don’t mock at our intelligence!

Mr Wong, a flawed system doesn’t work!!! If it is flawed, it is flawed. How can it work?

I understand you are a Christian but I wonder how much you understand the Gospels or the very life of Jesus Christ and what he stood for.

Our Lord would not have been crucified had he accepted “the flaws of the system” of His times. He never asked his people to close their eyes to the “flaws of the system” and instead focus on development , personal comfort, bank accounts and roads.

He stood up against the corrupt leaders who were fleecing the people. He condemned them as dead man’s tombs, hypocrites, vipers etc ( please read Matthew 23). The entire chapter is condemnation of the corrupt leaders of the Law.

How could one who professes to be a Christian choose to prop up a regime that is utterly corrupt and immoral? How could a Christian vote for candidates who are unwilling to defend the rights of his religion? How could a Christian support a regime that denies the weak non-Muslim to seek redress in any court of law?

What is your take on abuse of power, the dismantling of the Judiciary, the corrupt government leaders who inflate their bank accounts with money that belongs to the people? What is your stand on the confiscation of Christian literature and the Bible or the banning of the term “Allah” (mind you, this was approved by the Cabinet of which MCA Ministers are members)

Aren’t all these precursors of more frightening things to come? Have you thought what awaits your children's future if this trend continues?

Opposition Penang rally draws 30,000

Penang rally last night (Thursday) which drew 30,000 by a conservative estimate.
- Picture by Choo Choy May for The Malaysian Insider.

According to the Malaysian Insider, the DAP and its supporters stun themselves by the large turnout. "The crowd was mainly Chinese, a mixed bag of young and old, with pockets of Malays and Indians. About a quarter of them were wearing red, as called upon by DAP party leaders to show its strength in numbers." it was reported.

Looks like Penang will be free from the clutches of BN.

Two Headed Cow

Guess who is the 2 Headed Cow?

Excerpt from RPK's article: Melayu Umno dan Cina DAP bodoh

Najib says that the Chinese should reject DAP because DAP is working with PAS and PAS supports an Islam State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support an Islamic State. Najib says that the Malays should reject PAS because PAS is working with DAP and DAP supports a Secular State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support a Secular State. To the Malays, Najib says he does not support a Secular State and, to the Chinese, he says he does not support an Islamic State.

So what then does Najib support? Well, it all depends on who he talks to. If he talks to the Chinese, he will whack the Islamic State and, if he talks to the Malays, he will whack the Secular State. Najib thinks that Melayu Umno bodoh and Cina DAP bodoh as well. Yang pandai Najib seorang saja.

Expect more of this the next 48 hours as Polling Day gets closer. Desperate people will do desperate things. And the loss of five states plus 90 seats in Parliament requires desperate measures. That will be what will happen these next 48 hours. Tapi jangan Melayu dan Cina semua jadi bodoh. India sudah celek mata. Melayu dan Cina maseh tutup mata ke?

Why not a pic of a two headed snake? Well, thats too common.

Ink Spill Trick

First its the stunning U-turn on the legal requirement of the Stamp Duty on the statutory declaration accompanying the nomination form. Now, we are hearing the excuses that some 'syndicates' will spill the ink. RM2.4 million down the drain, that is. Surprised, are you?

Of course, you will get all sort of spins and protest and excuses from all parties judging by what i have read so far. Whether it be true or not, no one will know. But one thing for sure, Malaysians are no longer that gullible.

Ink or no ink, the EC and BN will cheat and have cheated their way to power. It's another Ink Spill Trick.

Adam & Eve

3 Malaysians were looking at a painting of Adam and EVE.

The Chinese man said 'They must be Chinese because they look calm, even when there is a snake around.'
The Malay guy said "They must be Malays because they are so good looking."
The Indian said "They are definitely Indians. They have no clothes, no shelter, they are advised by a snake to share one apple & told that they are living in Paradise."
