How much would it cost to (telephone) call Malaysia from Hell? You'd be surprised!

Queen Elizabeth, Bill Clinton and Ahmad Badawi die and go to hell. But the devil has only one phone there. Queen says, I miss my England , can I use your phone and hear how my people are doing down there.

She calls and talks about five minutes. Then she asks: Well devil, how much do I owe you for the call? The devil says: Five million pounds. She writes him a cheque and goes back to her chair .

Clinton wants to make a call too. He says I wanna call the US . He talks about ten minutes, then asks how much do I owe you devil? The devil says Ten million dollars He also writes a cheque and goes back to his seat.

Badawi is jealous. He says I want to call Malaysia . He calls and talks for about an hour to his son-in-law who is busy trying to find Mr.Petronas. Then he asks the devil how much do I owe you? The devil replies: only one dollar. Badawi is shocked and asks 'why so little?'.

The devils says: if you make a call from one hell to another, IT'S LOCAL CALL.

My pal pointed this out to me -

What was Chong Wei doing in a BN Campaign?
Didn't he know he is being used by BN?
BN paying for his RM300,000 reward mah! And his pension!

True true, but what if the BN government falls after Sept 16? Who is the government then?

But credit to the champ, he said this (reported by Malaysianinsider)-

“I am here just to collect the cheque. They have already announced that I would receive the reward. I don’t want to comment anything on politics. I don’t know much about it,” said Chong Wei, who is not a registered voter.

Dont get me wrong, I like this champ. It is just opportunistic of BN to use him for political mileage. Credit to him that he said - he just came for the cheque!

What my pals and I are cheesed about is - what Ismail Sabri claim that Chong Wei's success shows that Chinese are not discriminated."Our sports programme is for all Malaysians".

Yeah, it is something needless to say! Malaysians of all race (although RPK claims 90% of taxes are paid by non-bumis) pay their taxes so why shouldn't it be the case!

That said, I can't wait to hear Ismail Sabri or whoever in BN to say "Our Higher Education is for all Malaysians".. especially to UiTM?

I am Too Sexy for Malaysia

"The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry said it had decided not to permit Lavigne's show because it was unsuitable to Malaysian culture and could not be held on Aug. 29, two days ahead of independence day."

I suppose what is suitable for Malaysian culture is exposing "sodomy" on national media for kids to learn about it?

"Malaysia requires all performers to wear clothes without obscene or drug-related images and be covered from the chest to the knees. They must also refrain from jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing on stage" claims the report.

So I suppose our local rock bands - don't jump, don't shout on stage? No wonder the local bands are not popular!

"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models," he said.

Yeah, we not only want clean artists on stage, more importantly we also want clean politicians in the parliament.

Yeah, you politicians better be good role model if you insist the artists to be one! Funny how our politicians tend to forget about their own responsibilities, yeah?

By the same reasoning, since they are now baning artists who are not good role models for our kids, they should also ban football on TV because players like Ronaldo and Rooney are really bad role models for sleeping with hookers, using foul language, and for unsporting behavior on the field etc.

Why dont cha ban the Premier League too!?

New Terengganu MB is a genius

You all heard the fiasco with the purchase of the Mercs in the Oil Rich State. All the story and song about how unreliable the Proton Perdana were and how often they breakdown. We also hear the public laments about this kind of spending in challenging times.

At the center of this trial by the media is the current MB Datuk Ahmad Said, who if you remember was not UMNO's favourite MB. The MSM continue to lynch him with this bad choice and how it is against government policy etc. I looks as if Ahmad is doomed.

Is he?

What I find interesting is how clever this Ahmad Said is.

Just think, the MB didn't buy the Merc for himself. He is using his 18 year old Merc as his official car. But it was ordered for the excos, who if you remember sometime ago.. were hostile to his appointment by the Agung.

Yes, people can complain about the unjustifiable orders and the unfair claims about the unreliable Perdana. But at the end of the day, Datuk Ahmad Said didn't approve the car for his own enjoyment. However, don't you think it would be a nice 'gesture' to once hostile the excos?

Meanwhile, the logic of this purchase was how expensive the previous maintenance costs of the Perdana were. What is interesting is this fact:

"Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said said a total of RM1.15 million have been spent on maintaining the state’s 16 car fleet since they were purchased in 2004. This figure includes the repair costs of RM175,229.97 and RM132,357.76 for two of the cars that was revealed earlier this week. In addition, former MB Idris Jusoh’s car incurred a cost of RM131,600 in the first two months alone this year during the period he was the MB before he was replaced after the elections by Datuk Ahmad Said."

Wow, can we see who he is actually gunning down with this fiasco?
RM 131k in 2 months? Cheh Cheh.. ACA should check this out right?
Also, the RM1.15 million was spent during the previous MB's administration right?

So, with this masterstroke, he not only "buy over" the hostile excos, Datuk Ahmad also get to pin the whole blame on the former MB.

Why do we need so many ministers in the PM Department?

The Queen of Parliament dethroned today

Latest: The longest-serving Cabinet minister in Malaysia, and perhaps the longest serving trade minister in the world, has been dropped. Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz, the former Trade and Industry minister, a position she has held for just over 20 years, since 1987, was dropped from the 12th Malaysian Cabinet announced today at noon by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi.

Rafidah Aziz known for her imperial record of hardly ever present in Parliament. She hardly ever attends Parliament more than 5 times a year. And she is a minister for 20 years! I am sure she wont be missing Parliament, but she might be missing dishing out APs.

Wikipedia has only this to say about our minister of 20 years. No achievements listed, nothing!

In 2006, she was accused of corruption related to the issuance of
Approved Permits (AP) for importing foreign vehicles, by former prime
minister Mahathir bin Mohamad in his series of criticisms against the government.

A few familiar names were revealed, close associates and buddies and AP made them instant millionaires without adding any value. Malaysians were inflamed, the press at that time was on a witch-hunt and all of a sudden nothing happened.

Because "Semuanya okay" according to Pak lah. Maybe the "hug" has something to do with it.
